Comte (The Count's)
The construction of this aristocratic house before 1530 made up the new square.
It has a quadrangular layout, a central courtyard, and in the main door, it stands
out the Centelles Coat of Arms.
· The
Socós' Chapel
It was probably built in 1540. It is made up of only a nave with a bell tower
and some gaps. It also contained a Baroque altarpiece devoted to the Blessed
Virgin and to the Saints who disappeared during the last civil war.
· The
Centelles Entrance
It was built in 1542, renovated by Jeroni Martorell in 1917 and restored by Servei
de Catalogació i Conservació de Monuments de la Població de
Barcelona (the Cataloguing and Preservation Service of Barcelona) conducted
by Antoni Gonzàlez in 1987.
· Jesús'
Chapel
Building edified around the year 1541. It has an incredible symmetrical composition
and it has been the residence of the solicitors of the village for a long time.
·Centelles
Parish Church
This temple (1704-1710) was built in replacement of the old church that dates
back to the year 898. It is made up by a main nave with chapels devoted to different
devotions.
In 1682, Miquel Fiter, a teacher from Barcelona, raised the quadrangular belfry,
which at half way through turns into octagonal.
