This
is the first village we find in La Plana de Vic (the Vic's Plain)
coming from Comarca (administrative are corresponding to the English
county) of Vallès, in the south. It is divided in two well
differentiated sectors, and the Garga's Crags are the frontier
that splits the two sectors. The high sector is situated between
the Garga's Crags and the boundaries of the municipalities of Castellcir
and Sant Quirze Safaja. It has its centre around the old Sant Martí's
Parish Church, and its axis is the Sant Feliu de Codines Road.
On the contrary, the short sector is gathered in the Abella's area
with the Romanesque Sant Pere de Valldeneu's Church.
We have to stand out the ruins of the Centelles Castle, placed on a hill over
the church.
