You
have just entered the information page of the Consortium for
the Tourist Promotion of Portes del Montseny, Alt Congost and
La Plana de Vic.
This
Consortium has the purpose of the tourist promotion of the 12 municipalities,
which constitute the Consortium, and that are located on the north-east
slope of the Massif of Montseny, containing the municipalities of Aiguafreda,
Balenyà, Centelles, El Brull, Malla, Muntanyola, Sant Martí de
Centelles, Santa Eulàlia de Riuprimer, Seva, Taradell, Tona and
Viladrau.
We have altogether a natural frame that unites us and makes our villages have,
apart from an historical past, a big tourist and leisure offer in common that
combines the history with the demands of the present society: the practice of
golf, riding, thermal waters, watermills, the house of nature and the amazing
vegetation round the Massif of Montseny, masies (typical Catalan country houses)
for rural tourism, hostels, more than one thousand years of history of all our
municipalities and if you enter these pages, you will find out the possibilities
you have of enjoying the nature, the walk, the leisure and the history of a place
that is barely 50 km from the city of Barcelona.
In
short, we offer you the chance to come to share with us the love, we
all should have, for the essence of life, which is the land.
